Miropania

The Miropania Set is an item required for an Orthodox Christening/Baptism. The set contains a large towel, a large Miropani sheet, a small towel and underwear (hat, vest and pants).

The large sheet is used to absorb the oil that is on the baby from the Christening and the large towel is used to dry the baby. The underwear garments are worn under the Christening Gown, Dress or Suit to absorb any excess oil so that it doesn't go on the baby's beautiful Christening outfit. The small towel is for the Priest to wipe his hands after the Christening.
